What is Iris Photography?

Iris Photography is a unique art form, where we take detailed images of the human iris, showcasing your unique patterns and colours.
How does the process work?

You book a session, sit for a quick, non-invasive photo shoot using specialized macro equipment, and we capture high-resolution images of your iris. The photos are processed and turned into digital files or printed artwork, generally ready same-day* *Depending on circumstance, you will be updated before your session.
Where are you located?

We work out of our home studio on the Central Coast, NSW. However, we are always moving around to different markets, shopping centres and shows. Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram accounts for regular location updates. Alternatively, you can message us and we may be able to work your location into our schedule!
Is there an age limit?

Yes, while the process is safe, our minimum age to perform iris photography is 4 years.
How do I book an appointment?

Is the process safe?

Yes! We use specialised macro technology, and some artificial lighting to illuminate your iris briefly for the camera. Please note: If you have extreme light sensitivities, epilepsy or other conditions that may be affected by this process, you are not recommended to participate.
Can you travel to me?

Of course! We offer iris photography parties for the Central Coast and surrounds (special conditions apply for Sydney / Newcastle). Central Coast: We can travel to you and host the iris party at your house! All you need is 6 paying friends or family, and we will capture your iris for free! Sydney / Newcastle: For these areas, we will happily travel to you free of charge if you can gather 10+ paying people, and we will capture your iris for free! Contact Us for more details!
What products or artwork options are available?

We offer high-quality printed work as well as digital images, including single iris prints, multi-iris designs. Take a look Here for your options! We print up to A3 in house. The most common sizes are 20x20cm (one eye), A4 (2 eyes), A3 (2-3 eyes). If you would like a bigger size, we can arrange the digital file for you to have printed at a lab of your choosing.
Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! We offer prepaid gift certificates for you to gift your friends and family the best gift of all!
Do you accept Afterpay?

Yes, Iris Photography offers Afterpay, allowing you to pay in four interest-free installments. It's available for all our packages and sessions. For more details, visit our studio or contact customer service.
